  1. anon says:

connor didn’t actually riot. he’s trying to piss people off.

  2. Roger says:

ALL of these idiots’ employers’ need to know who is working for them. I’ve already called a couple. One that I called has already disconnected their phone. Another employer has disabled the contact form on their website. If that is the least I can do, I’m glad. What a disgrace.

  3. Joe Bolinski says:

To bad, he can explain that to the judge

  4. Roger says:

He has since changed his facebook privacy settings and posted an update about being let go from work. Serves him right!

  5. X says:

This is stupid, it was clearly a facebook post that meant nothing and you people harp on about this…like really? How about you actually catch real criminals…

    • CatchRealCriminals says:

I agree. I posted the same thing and the owner of the site keeps deleting the posts.

    • Malary says:

Curious to know what you think a real criminal is? Because… what happened at the riots was all criminal according to our legislation and for everyone who stood by and watched/took pictures… immoral and immature.

  6. Mike says:

Connor was rioting and causing trouble. He was planning this all along.

  7. Reasonable says:

Love to know who “Mike” at 2:45 AM is, but you’re flat wrong this is turning into a witchhunt for anybody who may have even suggested a connection to the riots.
I get that people are angry, and they should be, but why the need to ruin people’s lives and send them from their jobs without ANY evidence? Does it make you feel good to have someone to blame?

  8. Kal-el says:

    consider it a life lesson(s)
    – Riots aren’t funny
    – What you post on Facebook can come back to haunt you.

    Didn’t cost him a dime

  9. Theo says:

My wife and I came to Vancouver for the game, and ended up getting seperated for 4 hours during the riots. We will not be returning, and I would like to see everyone who participated, or encouraged others to, dealt with as severlly as possable. Even the brain damaged ones.

  10. Justice! says:

Connor is another waste of life, useless piece of shit goof. He deserves to lose his job. Even his friends thinks he’s a fucking douchebag.

  11. Mackenna says:

Some commenters ask why turn in people who were just standing by cheering the criminals.

I can’t believe this needs to be spelled out, but it’s called being an accessory. If you witness crime and you celebrate and support it, you’re not just part of the problem, you are a huge problem. A hundred instigators can’t commit this much vandalism without crowd support. The police say the instigators numbered around 100, but they got away with massive amounts of vandalism and violence because people like this twit here encouraged them and agreed with their actions. If you are incapable of understanding that, you’re lacking fundamental sense. People were beaten and stabbed while guys like Connor stood around shouting “yaaaaaaaay.” This diot needs consequences so he doesn’t repeat the same pattern of behaviour.

  12. Hendy says:

Good I hope this story goes viral and scares the living shit out of those people that were involved. I hope every last one of them loses their jobs and much much worse. This is not 1994 this is 2011 and the combo of cameras, video and social media will get you all. This isn’t just the cops out there looking for you, this is every decent citizen that wants a very big, thick book thrown at you, we’re all helping to get you all. There is no hiding from this kind of disgusting behavior anymore. If you can do the crime, you can do the time, the lot of you and you all know who you are. Many of you are probably reading this very post. Can you hear the footsteps yet? And to X at 12:03, shame on you too for sticking up for this little shit for brains. Involved or not he was down there enjoying this shit and that makes him just as bad. There were families down there, small children for Christs sake!!! One day this little fucker might actually have (It scares me to say this) children of his own and I pray that the shoe will be firmly tied onto the other foot.

  13. Nomoreriots says:

There is no need for a witch hunt, there is plenty of real evidence here in this link of people boasting about planning it even… sickening

  14. Max Power says:

Unless you have concrete proof that someone had an active part in the riots, all you fudds should leave it alone. It’s petty and you should be embarrassed.

  15. Kay says:

Connor is my bf’s friend. He was actually just trolling FB, he wasn’t serious at all. He saw reports about the riot and said stupid shit on FB, thats all.

  16. anonymoose says:

connor is practically my neighbor. he was trying to troll… poorly, and never was even close to vancouver during or after the game that day, you’re accusations are baseless and your judgement is of no use. your argument is invalid

  17. PBC says:

All I see is “that riot was awesome, can’t believe i made it out alive woooo”
Am I missing something? That’s pretty weak that he got fired for that. The guy is 21 and was a bit excited.
Some people need to take a break from being internet detectives and stop messing with peoples lives.
(unless there is some photo/video evidence of crimes then im all for it)

  18. ryan says:

they need to punish these people because this behaviour is unacceptable everybody invloved is responsable for the death of that person. you guys don’t even care that the result of your actions cause the death of a human being and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage. everybod invloved are criminals vandelism, assults, assulting police officers, theft, innocent people got injured the list goes on all the way up to manslaughter. get a clue

  19. BlueBeard says:

Riot said: “no excuse, but dude is actually brain damaged.”

    Good.

  20. Angela says:

All you people who make these awful comments about people you don’t know, and situations you know nothing about should be ashamed of yourselves. Until you know the whole story, keep your nasty comments to yourself. Connor is a great guy and a great friend. Use your brains before you mouth off!

    • loluname says:

he’s a retard and you’re a dumb cunt go die in a fire, and take your “friends” with you you spoiled little brat peice of sht.

  21. kev says:

No, make examples of everyone who remotely supported the riot, so it NEVER happens again.

  22. Anon says:

You have to responsible for what you say. He deserved to be fired. Take this as a lesson learned.

  23. Kim says:

Connor is a good kid, and he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He admits he made a mistake by being there… and yes the comments he made on facebook should not have been made, but he is very sorry for them. I support you Connor.

  24. John says:

Great, more people making excuses for these idiots, this is why we end up with situations like this, time for some consequences.

  25. Shaun says:

Too bad so sad… maybe he did… maybe he didn’t but he SAID he did so….. Kudo’s to his former employer for taking a moral stand.

  26. Justice! says:

I saw him on the news crying because he got fired. Tough luck for the idiot huh? Suck it up, buttercup. You’re a fucking idiot and nobody but fucking idiots support the rioting. Millions of dollars in damages? Vandalism. Looting. Theft. Assaults. And Connor thought it would be a good thing to post about on Facebook? So what if he didn’t actually do anything, I can guarantee you he was one of the idiots cheering on the guys doing the damage. He wanted to be part of the action, wanted to experience the whole thing. Well, conratu-fucking-lations goof, you succeeded.

  27. Frank says:

Connor you deserves it. Hope that no one will ever employ you again and may you sit and rot.

  28. JR says:

He said something really stupid publicly. Lots of people have lost jobs for lesser reasons. I can believe he’s a good kid who made a mistake, and if he looks at this the right way, he can learn more from this than he ever would have learned working for that company. Anybody actually proven to have comitted crimes during this even I hope they get large fines and community service (1000 hrs?), because I don’t want to pay for their food and shelter (jail). A lot of this incident is being overblown, there are very few tragedies where no one dies and an act of violence can’t be comitted against an inanimate object. Just my opinion.

  29. JohnnyC says:

I can’t believe this happened in Canada. Such flagrant disregard for people and property. I hope they are all rounded up and charged.

  30. Gregg says:

    Angela says…
Connor is a great guy and a great friend. Use your brains before you mouth off!

Angela…you should be having this Conversation with your looser friend…. if he had followed your advice he would still have a job…

You advertise where you work alongside posts supporting looting, violence, vandalism, arson and rioting… do the math…. if you can.

He thinks it’s not fair now…wait until he tries to get another job, and no employer in the Fraser Valley will even talk to him.
He might as well move to another Province and change his name now…

  31. Really? says:

Question: what exactly did he do, and what’s the proof? Take your moral stand all you like but I’ve yet to see anyone mention what crime was committed or how we know this.

  32. pimples says:

brain damage ever since the day he was born
