Jason Li, you you trying to compensate for a small penis? lol
How do you know? Did you have it in your mouth?
Hahaha nice one!
Yumm.. fresh meat.
This Jason Li is an a complete moron. Skinny punk ass with feminine glasses trying to be cool by hitting the a structural element of the building. It hurt his hands and had to stop to call for mommy. I hope you learn something by looking at yourself in this picture.
Geez I wouldn’t want to run into that guy in a dark alley… Yikes!!!!
Well buddy I hope you had fun. This shit is permanent, also 4chan has made you into a meme. Probably the high point of your existence too…
He was arrested at school today.
HAHAHA!!!! THIS GUY IS A FUCKING JOKE! he went to Mc.Roberts Secondary School. he got arrested ON THE LAST FUCKING DAY OF SCHOOL!!! XD he WAS the leader of the fadets (AKA cadets) in the air squadren or some shit. he could have easily got into flight school. he also wanted to go to UBC… NOT GONNA HAPPEN ASSHOLE! btw, to all you A7X fans, he said “the rev is a dead fag”. it got me pretty pissed off too… so go ahead. go give him a piece of your mind to him. heres his FB page link: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=710181751 oh, and he also STOLE his 4-6 year old sister’s bear on the end of his stick (which it fell off and is in the bank in the picture). have a good life… dipweed
@Mike Hey,Kellokoski! U better watch out. Your brother isn’t much of popular person either. Watch what u are gonna say and don’t be a dbag. Btw, i know where your house is at. Near Gardencity road. Is it not??
Hey, lay off the kid, everyones got their own opinion and their own voice on someone. Jason fucked up bad, so now he gets what he gets from both people and the law
Only a fucking pussy like you would try to threaten someone over the internet. Smart one your phantom tough guy. If anything happens to the guy above or his house, all that’s needed is your IP address you stupid shit. Man you’d think people nowadays would understand that NO ONE is anonymous on the internet! Everything is recorded, even your attempt at threatening the guy above. Morons!
DUDE GUYS THE POLICE INTERVIEWED HIM AND LET HIM OUT
I’LL UPLOAD PICS
I TEXTED HIM PRETENDING TO BE HIS FRIEND “MATTHEW LEE” AND HE TOLD ME HE’S OUT
Dude I know him he’s rlly not the kinda guy you think he is. He just made a mistake. He’ll be forgiven.
Just because he made the mistake, doesn’t mean he should get off without some kind of fine. At the least he should be paying for the damages done on BMO.
Yea i know….he just wanted to “try” it. Stupid decision but he meant no harm. Too bad he made too many enemies at school.
I hope someone smashes his face like a bank window.
Oh cry me a river. It’s not rocket science to know that smashing a store front window is wrong. I hope this little cockroach is screwed for the rest of his life. Fucking little maggot.
Is he a citizen of canada of a hear on a visa? citizen throw him in jail . if not throw him on the next plane out of here. Any one arrested who is not a citizen should be deported anyone who is should be thrown in jail. douche nozzles. i gotta say the police chief trying to blame this on a bunch of anarchists is ridiculous. yep i think those people are scumbags but trying to pass the buck is a joke. jim chui screwed the pooch on that one. i think the police did a decent job of not killing anyone but in a city where a box knife will get you shot should have seen snipers shooting anyone who had a molotov cocktail in their hand. i mean wtf
Idiot. All rioters are Western or Westernised people. He is not person here on visa. Are you stupid or what? We, here in the Western country breed this kid of action. Don’t hit your kids. Both parents gone to work. Have a nanny take care of them. That’s what you get.
Do you want to exchange links? Just accept my post and after that, post a comment on my page and I will accept yours. DOn’t post any adult sites please. Let’s get this link party started like it’s 1993
If he got off someone needs to post his address and let’s go get him. VIGILANTE JUSTICE!
“The courts will not dispense justice for this idiot, so public shaming will help!
Stupid little nerd, your life as you know it is OVER! You have been found guilty
of being a pathetic little follower, a trivial puppet in the game of life and
your future is very uncertain. I hope you can’t get into UBC and I hope you
spend the rest of your feeble life mopping up vomit at a Chuck E. Cheese.
Your punishment for the crimes you have committed should be a punch in the
face from each person living in Vancouver.”
Couldnt have said it better.
I’m surprised those twigs he calls arms actually broke glass.
Then wouldn’t you be doing exactly what he did? Except worst cuz it’s on a person and it’s something you chose to do, not a mistake.
And here we go with the BS excuses again, it was his choice, don’t try and write it off as a mistake.
The lengths some people go to for their hipster magazine fashion shoots! What a jerk.
@Mike Kellokoski
Its funny seeing him doing this sh*t but don’t you think that you’re taking it a bit too far. You shouldn’t be telling people about his personal life.what if
that was you in the picture, would you like if someone was talking trash and leaking personal info through the Internet?
Look at his arms!!! They’re thinner than that stick he’s holding!! Surprised his arms didn’t break when he struck the building
Guys really? some people are just taking it too far with this guy, “throw him in jail for the rest of his life?” “stock up on lube?” Sure he made a mistake, but hes 18 and just a kid, if you watch the video, he didnt even do any damage, he only whacked the already smashed glass several times to make himself look cool. People are hating on him- yes it is kinda funny- mostly because everyone else is doing it, which simply leads us back to the reason why the riot even started: mob mentality.
Couldn’t agree with you more Tom. The way these people are talking about this kid, the anger they are spewing, it’s exactly what caused the riot in the first place. One person does something stupid and no one else can resist jumping on the bandwagon. Calm down people. He’s one of hundreds of idiots that were there at night, and no doubt a few of you were there snappin’ pictures and laughin’ hysterically. Those who live in glass houses…..
This kid is a demented, sick puppy.
I knew him since elementary. Full of himself. Hates the whole world because (boo hoo boo hoo) all the attention is being given to his younger sister.
You deserve to be in jail.
People, this is just a kid. The real culprits are the antisocial morons wearing balaclavas who instigated kids like this to be violent. Obviously this behaviors is totally unacceptable.
More excuses, let me guess, you’d send him home with a stern talking to, the riot may have started with those dipsh!t anarchists but it was twits like this that caused the major damage. Since they’ll likely get off with a warning some shaming like this seems appropriate.
That’s racist bill. I’ll have you know there are a lot of Chinese citizens that are actually Canadian citizens. Just because someone has a different face from ur white one doesn’t mean they’re any different
Let’s be realistic here folks. The kid is almost certainly a young offender and won’t be doing hard time, if any. And frankly, that might be as it should be. Some of the people downtown were sadistic perpetrators of violence and mayhem, and they should pay a steep price. This is just a young, stupid kid. He needs a bit of juvenile punishment and a whole lot of real parenting. But sending him to prison and throwing away the key as if he was some kind of riotous mastermind of destruction doesn’t really accomplish anything.
This is what happens, when you become stupid enough to think you can get away with committing crime, just because everyone else is doing it. It just makes me sad that all the values and tradition that our great country upholds disappear over a NHL hockey game. Thank you Jason Li for screwing up the reputation of hundreds of Jason Li or Lee out there…. I just want to change my name, it just makes me feel disgusted for even sharing the same first name. I hope you get what you deserve.
To Andy,
oh yeah.. typical excuse.. Not that type of guy. Made a mistake, will be forgiven.. Sure human beings are not out there to commit crimes, right? It is not their “Nature” after all. Look this is free county, but you have to take responsibilities of your own action. This kid is old enough to understand that, so he better pays for what he has done.
The courts will not dispense justice for this idiot, so public shaming will help!
Stupid little nerd, your life as you know it is OVER! You have been found guilty
of being a pathetic little follower, a trivial puppet in the game of life and
your future is very uncertain. I hope you can’t get into UBC and I hope you

Chris, it accomplishes something extremely important – the realization that actions have consequences. As a fellow Grade 12 student that has some very good friends in what some people might call ‘disreputable circles’, I must tell you that the attitude of these ‘young, stupid kids’ is that their actions allow them to get off scot-free in almost every instance : why care about records if they get cleared when they come of age? Do what you want while you’re young.
It is this attitude that is so prevalent among youth in Canada, allowing all sorts of criminal activity to go unchecked.
Let the kids say : “Remember Jason Li! Remember what happened when you’re stupid, and you don’t think about the consequences of your actions! Remember that being in a crowd excuses nothing!” Make them think about what could have happened, what’s at stake, and that they are in control of what they do.
These individuals have NO EMPATHY in their psychology as human beings…correction…. scum bag humans who can’t be trusted to participate in our society that we all work so hard to build co-operatively.
JASON LI, BRYDON HARKER, AND NATHAN KOTYLAK you are the scum of society in VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA for being part of a riot and destroyed millions of dollars in property that did not belong to you.
You deserve nothing but the worst that life has to offer because you had the opportunity to be compassionate to your community but chose to spit in ALL of our faces.
Have a great life SHIT HEADS.
If he’s a young offender, the bill for the damage will go to his parents if the bank wants to pursue charges. That might be the best result. Having him got to jail will likely not serve the public’s best interest.
That weak dude was stupid enough to pose and got publicated…
Yet at least 20 more guys participated in the single video and many still hiding…proudly and shamelessly hiding…
You RATS and COWARDS know who you are. See if you can be as proud the day your future kids smashing furniture and windows.
“What’s wrong Daddy?? I learn that from you”
in my one punch he can die..freekin wannabe…
how are you better than him. violence? actually, you are worse. at least his is not towards people. shame on you.
Figures everyone involved is from Richmond, surrey, abbotsford etc. they re done shitting in their own back yard so they come shit in ours. no resident of DT vancouver or no real fan would behave like this, i hope this kid gets hit J walking. Karma will get him
Your article Jason Li – Vancouver Hockey Riots Vancouver Stanley Cup Riots 2011 was in my RSS news feed. Good job on the article.
BRIDGE AND TUNNEL.
ARRRGG! LOOK AT ME IM SO STLONG!
This kids dumb but he made a stupid mistake like we all do from time to time. If he gets a criminal record it will fuck his shit up for life and I don’t think that’s really fair for the crime nor in the public’s best interests.
@Jason: he should not get off scot-free by any means. But trying to throw the book at this kid, when he’s a follower and not a leader in the riot, is not the answer. As someone who’s been around a lot longer than you, I can tell you that not everyone who’s a punk as a teenager turns out badly and needs punishment and jail, just the ringleaders and most problematic and reprobate do. This young man should get some modest punishment, and a lot of public shame and embarrassment. But should he have his entire life ruined out of what is more likely a lack of judgment and foresight than any true malicious underpinnings? No
Young offender laws are in place for a reason. They recognize that decisions made by children (and this Jason Li is clearly a child) reflect natural immaturity, not ingrained viciousness. To punish Jason Li like an adult when he’s not one is to embark on a slippery slope of treating deviant juvenility like adult criminality. Not somewhere we want to go.
Also, the undertones of violence, racism and hatred present in the reactions to these photos is getting a little unfortunate. People who want to see looters and vandals physically abused and assaulted are no better than the rioters. Show some dignity people, some of these people deserve severe reprimands and serious prison time, others deserve modest punishments, a lot of time in service to their community, a healthy dose of public shaming and a very hard and important life lesson.
Oh no…not the SEVER REPRIMAND! Noooooo. Anything but the SEVERE REPRIMAND!!!! I mean…how will they ever be able to go on with life after a
S E V E R E R E P R I M A N D! I mean really..is THAT even legal in Canada??? I heard that detainess in Guantanamo would rather face more waterboarding than a SEVERE REPRIMAND from a judge.
Well said. There is no point getting angry. We here brought up these kids.
Sure he may be an idiot for following the mob like a lemming, but if you looked at the video, he really didn’t do much besides smash an already broken window a couple of times.
He just happened to be in a perfect kodak moment at the wrong time. Fine him for a couple or have him clean up with some community service or something, then leave him be because this picture is already blowing up on the internet already. However, what really boggles my mind is why he didn’t cover up his face. How could you not think about something like that? Did you not think there would be cameras at such an event?
This kid should be punished, but he is just a kid and the punishment should match the crime. He should have to pay for the damages and some community service like cleaning the streets or cleaning up some Dog parks. Something like this should not ruin his life, it would be different if he was beating on people, but breaking windows and making a mess. I think community service and a banned from any and all sporting events for a couple years would be a sufficient punishment.
Bullshit to those who defend the followers. Every single one of the people in the riot was old enough to know better! Even a 5 year old knows the difference between right and wrong. You want to follow the others and show off that you can also break windows, flip over cars, loot, light fires, and incite the police, then you should be following them to court and then following them to jail. If any of the people in the riots are convicted and found not to be Canadian citizens, deport them. As an employer, if I ever found out one of my employees were involved in the riot they could kiss their job goodbye, plus any reference for a future job!
Severe reprimand and serious prison time I said. A severe reprimand in the legal sense means criminal record. Serious prison time is a serious punishment. You have something beyond prison you’d like to hit these people with? You’re a savage.
Chris..does your law school print your graduate diplomas on toilet paper?
Nowhere does a SEVERE REPRIMAND mean anything more than a sternly worded censure.
A SEVERE REPRIMAND to this goofball Jason Li would go something like this:
“Mr. Li, as a judge I’ve seen plenty of micreants involved in foolish shenanigans
and other such tomfoolery and it does not please me one bit. This court takes a very
dim view of your behaviour and urges you to reflect inwardly and make some much
needed positive changes in your life, before it’s too late. I don’t expect to
ever have the occasion to see you appear before me in court ever again! Do you
understand me?”
Jason nods his head sadly and mumbles “Yes sir”
The judge then sentences Jason to 40 hours of community service work and tells him to get out of the court room.
Later that night, the judge sleeps peacefully knowing that his severe reprimand will forever deter Jason and others
like him from ever breaking the law.

Doesn’t matter. Deserves the same punishment as instigators, because in fact his is an instigator. Look at the picture, he was trying to get a rise out of the crowd.
You wouldn’t be saying the same thing if he was the third guy to rape your sister. Doesn’t count. Mob mentality.
Justice! Whatever, it’s semantics who cares, I’m not a lawyer and I guess I used the word wrong. Please address my main point instead of petty comments about my wording. Main perpetrators of riots should be severely punished, stupid kids following the mob should be treated like exactly what they are, stupid kids doing stupid things.
What would throwing this idiot in jail give society? Vengeance for a broken window. Please, save the jail cells (and taxpayer dollars) for people starting things, people striking police or other innocent people, for adults who know better. This kid needs to pay his debt to society with some hard work, not by going to jail to become a life time criminal with no future save doing a lot worse things than smashing a window.
You are awesome little fella, internet glory over the next 2 weeks await!
How is putting Jason in jail going to help anything? I don’t believe putting him in jail and throwing away the key is the answer. There are sexual offenders and murderers out there that are sentenced for life. Should what Jason did be compared to those people? There is no way the court would sentence him for life and IF he was thrown in jail, he would come out as a worse person because of the bad influences from jail. Yes, he should be punished, but throwing him in jail is not a solution.
That’s the kind of dude that shoots up a high school.
Justice said: “Your punishment for the crimes you have committed should be a punch in the face from each person living in Vancouver.”
That’s a great line.
Since we can’t, of course, catch every scumbag who ran riot on Wednesday, at least we can name and shame a few who will pay the price for all. Jason, your life is about to become a living hell. Your family will pay the price. I do hope the vigilantes don’t come for you–not so much for your sake, you could use a good beating–but for your family’s.
well guys he has been arrested at school and has now been expelled.
You can ruin this guys life without throwing him in jail. A criminal conviction with suspended sentence will do just fine.
Jason Li, You have disgraced your family.
Obviously you don’t understand the psychology of mob mentality. Face it Chris, many of the people involved in the rioting were prepared to riot before the game even started. There were reports that people were going to riot whether the Canucks won or lost. Call them disturbed, call them anarchists..call them whatever but they still went to the downtown core to cause mayhem. Once somebody starts the actions to riot, people around them still have the choice to walk away or take part. A large number of the people participated actively by encouraging others to burn and loot. Whether you realize it or not, chanting your support at some goof burning a police car is part of the mob mentality. The varying degrees of participation do not totally lessen the effect of the result of the riot. Anyone causing ANY damage should be publicly shamed. Period! End of story. If there is enough evidence for the police to press charges, great! And even if not..the rioters need to be held accountable for their actions. Publicly naming and shaming these people is justice!
everyone involved with violence and the riot need to have every single item that they own either destroyed or taken away and auctioned off to cover the damages. This was an attack on the people in a public place and therefore they need to be paraded in front of the public and they should receive swift justice, no apologies only punishments.
Im hoping that there address are made available to the public, with that they will feel the sense of fear that they instilled upon us.
@Chris Everyone needs to take charge of their own action. Once you are part of the riot, there is no different between the “main perpetrators” vs the “stupid kids following the mob”. You cause the damage, you do the time. Punishment is not necessary = jail.
On behalf of the internationial community… sorry vancouver… idiots like this have screwed your rep and you will have to carry it every where you go for years to come.
Shame on them and you did such a good job of the games too…
On the people that did riot/ loot… brainless idiots… and that includes the chick that got interviewed with the “new” bag. No one said a rioter/looter has to have brains…
They have to be publicly shamed with out making them stars (hard to do)
Or put them in a small room tie their hand’s behind their back’s and let the owners of the business’s and the cars that got trashed have their way… a bit ott…sure… but what if that stuff was yours?
Any hoo I play and ref hockey in Canada(a 100% hockey fan) and I would dear anyone to boust about the riots while I or any of my team mates are around…you wont see it coming. Must be hard to do something like that and know if you open your mouth you will be reported or…worse.
Last thing BIG ups for those people that stood in front of businesses trying to stop the destruction of the Canadian pride. I see some of them got beaten up as well…
Find them Canada/ Vancouver and make them pay for what they have done to your rep and City.
Truefan
true. save the justice for someone really villainous. there are some real hard-ass pieces of shit out there doing damage to people, never mind windows. beating people for a few $. for real. these are the characters that we need to focus on.
Hey VPD and Mr. Mayor – this skinny @$$hole is not an anarchist. Just a sore loser from the burbs. Stop the denial and accept some of the responsibility – you weren’t prepared. So, part of this is YOUR fault. Man up to it, because this scrawny nerd desperately needs some of your testosterone. Look at him. Pathetic. LOL!
Tons of people that were at the game left when the first car went on fire. Mob mentality isn’t an excuse, they chose to stay there. While the ones breaking the windows and looting caused the most damage, the onlookers fuelled their attention whoring needs.
hey fuck you jason li. Don’t let me see your ugly face in public areas. I can easily find out where you live asshole. Watch out. You are a disgrace to all chinese and canadian citizens.
And you are better than this guy by threaten him????
Whoever started this site is a genius. Thank you for this. Publicly shaming these people is the only justice we have left. Its pretty certain that nothing will come off of them being arrested so this will be karma justice. Remember their names, their faces and action and let society take care of the rest. Want a job? I remember you. Want to graduate? I remember you. There shouldn’t be any excuse for their actions, and none of this ‘they aren’t really like that’ bullshit. If they aren’t like that then they wouldn’t do it. period.
Reading this from Ireland, Send the slant back to his ancestors country
Shut your Face …… comment on the event and not on the race
Bold words coming from a leprechaun
@Ian……..Thank god you are reading this from Ireland. Keep reading it from “there”
Thank god you are in Ireland. Lets hope it stays that way.
that pic is just priceless!
Good Luck – trying to get into university, trying to get a job, trying to find a friend – with a criminal record. You are going to do jail time.
Send him back to China where he belongs. Hopefully he is packing a lot of fudge!!!
Your irrelevant, racial idiocy contributes nothing to the solution. Either GTFO and stay out, or develop a coherent thought and post it maturely, not like a mentally deficient twelve year old homophobe.
@Ian……..Thank god you are reading this from Ireland. Keep reading it from “there”
[...] the wake of the shameful riot on Wednesday night, many names will live in infamy. Jason Li, Nathan Kotylak, Alicia Price and Connor Mcilvenna spring immediately to mind, but the one that has [...]
You dummies. The photo is not real. The riot did not happen in the day.
Karma is going to be a b!tch for him… for the rest of his life!!!!!
I know Jason in person and was even a friend of his. He is actually quite a nice guy except he made the wrong decision out of compulsion. He should get what he deserves – not getting into UBC, getting kicked out of school and cadets… But still, everyone deserves a second chance. So I hope Jason will learn from this and think twice before he acts next time.
ha – this is funny – who do you think is the riot “star” – the sharpest tool? Jason Li or Nathan Kotylak?
at this site someone open it for a vote
http://crowdfanatic.com/confront/jason-li-vs-nathan-kotylak-who-is-the-riots-star-jason-li-love-you-bro/
i voted for Nathan but this Jason is a national “treasure” fro sure…
Jason is a moron, but aren’t they all guilty? There were other kids who joined in the window-smashing, but more importantly, many other guys were cheering and egging on the vandals. I think the guys who stood on the sidelines and cheered on the vandals were even worse in some ways. They were too cowardly to do it themselves but more than willing to encourage other kids to smash and burn the city. If some bully is beating up a kid and a whole bunch of others kids egg on the bully, cheering and hooting with joy at the violence, they are guilty too. Maybe not legally but morally.
Btw, why has so much attention been focused on Jason Li when he was only one of many vandals? Prolly because it’s a man-bites-dog story. We usually don’t associate nerdy Asians with behavior such as this, so this is both eye-catching and funny. But a black rioter or white rioter smashing stuff is all too common. Also, using a black guy as a posterchild for vandalism would be ‘racist’ according to Canadian public opinion.
Way to target the person who took two weak swings at a storefront that was already demolished. Why not find the dipshit whiteboys destroyed the windows in the video?
